About Me

As a former CEO of a smaller not-for-profit, I have had a unique insight into the wonderful opportunities and flexibility that avail a small organisation as well as the challenges it can bring. I have developed a strong skill set in strategic planning, project management, staff development, clinical supervision, program development, program planning, community development, working with Boards, schools, and external organisations.

 

Over my career, I have provided social/emotional support to parents, developed, trained and delivered parenting programs and family strengthening programs locally and nationally, many with an early-years and health focus.

 

I lead with authenticity and build genuine relationships both within the organisation and with all key stakeholders. I create an environment where staff are supported and can feel safe to share, to grow, to learn and to give back to others. A place where parents are truly valued as the primary carers and influencers for their children.

 

I have a heartfelt love for asset-based community development, peer-led work, nurturing others to find their strengths within and providing employment opportunities for them to continue developing those strengths.​​​
